Played a game earlier today where a player went all-in after a pre-flop raise to him. He was in mid-position. He was called by the original raiser who showed an A-Qo. He showed a J-2o. He ended up winning the hand with a 2 on the flop and river (vs Q's), but it never showed on his stats that he made a donk bet vs. a PFR. If this wasn't what would be?

That's a donk play alright. But the definitions of a donk bet in poker terminology are post-flop when you lead out with a bet against the pre-flop raiser, in actuality it's not always a donk play - but the term for it is donk-bet. Perhaps the phrase donk bet isn't a great one as it's a bit misleading, not sure how it originated but there's always google if you really want to know. ;)
