switching from UB to Stars

I'm still learning this software. It seemed to work ok for me on UB for the last couple months. But I just switched to Stars and seem to forget how to set it up. Is there anything that has to be done when using it on different sites.

ps. The only problem I had on UB is that I had to use a default HUD. I could clone and update HUDs it always popped up as the default. I would love to solve this issue starting Stars.

Are the videos on here the best place for a beginner to learn the software? I saw a few on youtube but I need more of the basics.
