So I was running telescope yesterday, and for the first time ever, it threw an error, saying there was a null reference in an index key or something to that effect. It said to re-index my db.

So, I went through postgre admin, and did the reindex. I then did a vaccum through HEM. No errors on either that I am aware of.

Right now, HEM sees all of my hands, but I have lost all of the other players, and I had around 250k players in there, and something like 5-6 million hands.

Any tips? All of my hands are there, just not the other players....

Are you sure you dont have any filters selected, please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder just before you run a search so i can see what filters you have.

Im pretty sure it is a db problem. There are only 65 rows in my players table now, but still 6 million in pokerhands, etc.

Anyway to rebuild the players table from data in other tables? OF course, no backup...

Theres no way to rebuild it, if it is gone thats weird as ive never seen stats just disappear like this without corrupting the database and it seems very unlikely. Does the amount of hands currently in your database seem to correspond http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=19

YEa, all of the hands and other data seem to be intact, but now Im obviously worried about the integrity of the rest of the data.

Think I should start over with a new db?

If you want to be sure it would do no harm. Heres the FAQ for exporting http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173 although this method is a bit quicker http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=12 but more prone to issues
