HEM goes into trial mode when running behind a firewall

often when i try to connect at my work where there is a proxy, HEM goes back to trial mode, and says my 15 days are up and wont work anymore. i can connect to FTP using proxify, but HEM wont connect. i have registered HEM, and when i go back home again and connect to a normal internet connection, HEM will work again.

i have purchased HEM and i would expect it to work 100% of the time, not occasionally. i am not trying to circumvent some security feature, is there something i am missing? :confused:

i have also tried inputting proxy information when that pops up, and it still goes straight to the trial mode expired screen.

HoldemManager will check the license server:
-1 when you first activate it
-2 once every two weeks after the activation

When it checks the license server, unfortunately, you can't be behind a proxy server or it won't be able to make the connection.
When you're at home you can turn off any proxy setting, but the current system isn't setup to take into account external corporate proxy servers you can't turn off.

Did you already upgrade to http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/Hm_1.11.06d_Internal.exe
and linked your HoldemManager serial to your HoldemManager.com account?

grrrrrrrr this happened again last night. this is frustrating because i can't use it the whole rest of the night until i come home again, and reactivate it at home. is there a way to force the activation at home before i go to work so this won't happen at work?

is there a way to force it to "successfully" activate so it wont check while i am at work? i don't think you are understanding what my issue is...

Did you see our activation FAQ? There is a proxy section.

and during the activation process you can enter a proxy manually by pressing a function key. I'm not sure which one it is because i used this a long time ago. But it should be explained in the details of the activation error message if i remember right.
