Trouble setting up....help!!??

Hello all,

I just bought and set up holdem manager tonight. I downloaded everthing and set up hand history folders from Full Tilt that match folders entered on Holdem Manager to draw hand history from but I am having problems.

I have played a few sessions and I can see hand history files on my C drive but nothing can be found in Holdem Manager -- when I try the 'set up hero' thing it doesn't have my name found anywhere. I have tried importing directly from the hand history files, and using auto import, but I can't seem to get holdem manager to import any of the hand histories on my c drive after I play.

Am I missing something? I am very anxious to start using this so any help is greatly appreciated.

Yep, got to be missing something...

There's a fairly important "restart Holdem Manager" step. Did you do that?

If you got PostgreSQL and HM installed, more than likely the step you are missing is on this page.

I tried the restart but may not have done it at the right time.

Just to be clear -

- I set up 'auto input folder'
- close down and restart HM
- start HM and hit 'auto input'
- play a few hands
- set up hero

And HM should recognize my username and start keeping data from my hand histories?

I think I have done this but I may have to try again
