Hi,
I've been using HEM with full working functionality since August up until today. Now, it will not connect to postgres. I uninstalled and reinstalled postgres 8.3.5 successfully, and I can't get the DB to function in any way (can't even get HEM to open, it only goes to DB management screen). Help?
Thanks

Failed to establish connection to 127.0.0.1.... then it goes to the error about user control for Vista (which is weird because I definitely set that right and it recognized it so for the past several months).... then it sits at the DB control panel screen....

Yeah, I know about the stuff outlined in that FAQ link you linked. Like I said, I've been using HEM for months, I changed nothing, and I'm still getting that error. UAC is off and the programs are set to run as administrator (because UAC is off)....

Youll need to follow that FAQ exactly otherwise it wont fix the problem, if you skip even 1 step it may not work, its often caused when Vista does a windows update

My computer's messed up, so I'm just gonna reformat. If you can, clear my registration codes because I'll be wiping my desktop and laptop. Thanks
