Can I set up holdem manager on 2 computers with one database ?

So that one computer is adding hands that have been datamined to the database and the other computer is playing poker and using the database. Perhaps writing the hand histories onto the computer that is data mining ? Both computers would be running HM manger at the same time.

What is the best way to set this up ? Would having the database on a network drive work or even be necessary ?

thanks

You can use 1 database over the network as found in this FAQ.

You can also set it up to share an external hard drive. However when you're done playing you'd have to take the hard drive out of the computer you were playing on, hook it up to the other one, and import all the hands.

Here's the link to set it up on 2 computers and share the db via an external hd:

this is what i'm trying to set up right now. got it working great on one computer, however the other one is having a bit of an issue.
