View Full Version : Problem with opening database hands

When I right-click on a selected hand in HM database and choose "Analyse hand in SnG Wizard" on the screen appears an error message. If I translate it in english it's something like "There is no reference to the object in the object's sample".
What should I do to resolve the problem?

Have already adressed this question to support of SnG Wizard and got the following answer: "If you get the error message when you right-click, contact Holdem Manager support and they can help you".

So what is the problem?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Uninstall the Holdem Manager.

Delete this folder:

"C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\In The Money"

where UserName is your Windows login name.

Then install Holdem Manager.

If you still have the problem, please send me a hand history file.

Uninstall the Holdem Manager.

Delete this folder:

"C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\In The Money"

where UserName is your Windows login name.

Then install Holdem Manager.

If you still have the problem, please send me a hand history file. I could find a folder named "In the money" only under another address, namely: C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application Data\In The Money. Can it be the folder you mean?

Yes, that is the folder name if you are using an older version of Windows.

Yes, that is the folder name if you are using an older version of Windows. Uninstalled HEM, deleted the folder, reinstalled HEM. It didn't help. Same result...
I can send you hand history file as you requested, but I don't know what file exactly do you mean?

upd: right now I tried it for other poker networks. So it works excellent for Entraction and Pacific and doesn't work for Merge (tried only these 3). So probably I have to send to you hand history files for 2-3 tourneys from Merge?

The Merge network is not supported yet. It will be added in a future release.

A future release.

Considering the events of Black Friday, I really hope this "Future Release" comes really fast. I own 2 licenses to Wiz and it's currently USELESS to me since the only site I can play on now is Merge.

Also, if Merge isn't supported, why in the hell is Carbon Poker listed in the options? Complete with a few payouts already built in?

Thank you. The problem will be fixed in the next HM release.

ok, thanks. i deleted the last two posts. i had thought that i didn't successfully attach the files, but then realized that i had. is there a ball park estimate of when i should look for the next release? or how i'll know when it's come out? is there a place on the sitngo wizard site that will say there's a new release? will i need to download it; or is this automatic?

thanks,

sj

I'm not sure when it will be released, but if you have auto-update turned on in HM you will be notified.

where do i turn on auto-update? i can't find it.

i found an update this am at the sng standalone site, but that must not have been the update you were talking about, since the analyze hands function still didn't work after i downloaded it.

how often do new releases come out? weekly, monthly, yearly? i have no idea, since i'm new to all this. i'd love to have the wizard program, but it's pointless to spend $100 for something that doesn't work for me. that's the reason i was asking how soon the next release will come out. i wasn't trying to pin you down to the exact day.

thanks though,

sj

i seem to be able to open games in the standalone version of wizard now. this is fine with me for the present. i see the arrow for clicking from one tournament to the next, but i don't see the function for moving from one hand to the next within the same game. i know i need to read the tutorial. just need to find the time as i'm trying to run two different business'. lots of fun so far though.:) still need to know where to turn on the auto update feature.

thanks,

sj

Its in the options menu of SnG wizzard. The 3rd button from the right side -> check for updates = true
