I have a sneaking suspicion this is bitdefender related but i'm not sure what happened.

anyway when i go to open hold em manager now it goes to a configuration screen. It then starts to configure and stops and says a network resource is missing and then it searches for install files. at this point i tried to reinstall and that also didn't work as my virus protection says there is a trojan. and i can't figure out how to get around it.

anyway can someone help me out with this. i need to get this working again asap.

thanks

Can you reinstall like that this time and tell me if it works:

1) Make a backup of "Config" in a safe location
2) Export your HUDs via "HUD Options => Player Preferences"
3) Uninstall HM via the Control Panel
4) Go to Program Files and delete the RVG Software directory, or the equivalent for Vista
5) Reboot your computer
6) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdemmanager.zip
7) Upload HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate1.07beta.exe
8) Test if it works
9) Overwrite the backuped "holdemmanager.config" file in the new Config directory to recover your settings
10) Test if it works
11) Import your HUDs via "HUD Options => Player Preferences"
12) Test if it works

Youll then need to add hmhud.exe, holdemmanager.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe to the exceptions list before you run HM
