Hi,
I had that "Failed to establish connection" error. I tried to fix it using the solutions provided by this forum. None worked. I uninstaled HM and PostgreSQL using Revo Uninstaller Pro, I deleted the registry keys, I runned Evidence Remover on Revo, I also runned Glary utilities Pro to fix problems, clean registry etc etc etc...
I dowloaded HoldemManager 1st time installer and it can't install postgreSQL. There is allways this message at the end of the installation "Could not install postgreSQl"
I TRIED TO DO THIS 3 TIMES UNSUCESSFULLY!
I tried to instal HM and PgSQL in my other disk.
I also tried to install PT3 to make sure it wasn't a problem with HM installer, and it couldn't instal PgSQL neither.
I found this folder on C:\ "Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition". Since it's an SQL server too, do you think it might be a problem? I didn't delete it cause I really don't know what is it for.
I am using Windows XP (2002) SP3, AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4800+, 2.51 GHz, 2 GB RAM
Now I asking for some help :(
... or I will have to format my computer :(
Thank you.
