We're going to begin releasing private beta builds to some of the people who donated hands by tomorrow night. Right now we have Party, Full Tilt and Stars fully implemented so people who donated those tourneys will get it first. We are working on the rest of the sites as well and as we complete them over the next days those people who donated those tourneys will get their early beta builds. We plan on supporting all sites before this is an official release and almost all sites will be in before public beta in about a 10 days I think.

One big improvement that has been added since the initial screen shots is that on the data view tab which shows the grid with the results the screen is now split with the bottom showing the hands from the tourney which can then be replayed, filtered etc. You can also manually add tourney results or edit existing results very easily.

We also have a lot more planned for tourney players down the road but this initial implementation is looking really good I think. It has been a long time but we're just about there.

Other improvements for this 1.08 beta include a hand range tool in the replayer, additional hud site options and a player auto rate system.

This may have been answered elsewhere, if so, apologies, but for those of us who have purchased both HEM and TM....1) will we find HEM with tourney support more useful? and if so, 2) do we consider the purchase of TM a donation to the cause or may we somehow be credited in the event of a major overhaul sometime in the future that might require buying a new license?

TM is a seperate program that was available before HM and is basically a stats tracker. Holdem Manager is a stats tracker/HUD/Table Selection Tool(coming soon) They are quite similar in some ways however they both have individual features and both will continue to be supported and updated.

There is no current deal for people subscribing to TM for a discount if they buy HM although there is some good deals on the website and through various poker coaching sites.

will it be possible to have various hud stats depending on the current blind level?

and do you plan to integrate new themes for the lobby and hand replayer? would be a nice icing on the cake:D

You can filter stats already based on the level, Hud Options > Additonal Hud Filters > Filter by Limit

Some people who sent HH for r testing will be on the beta and were not accepting any more beta testers at the moment

Will the new grid also be implemented in this 1.08 (beta)?

Roy mentioned it in this thread:

http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=5638

and I hope it'll solve some of the performance issues I currently have with HM. Luckily not during play, but mainly with analyzing afterwards...

Without want of hijacking... Table Selection Tool as in a rival to something like 'Telescope' from SpadeIt for PokerStars?

Are you sure you want to cross the road of table selection ?

On Full Tilt, SpadeEye is banned. SpadeEye is a table selection tool but it could have been banned because of datamining capabilities.

Now Telescope is from the same developer of SpadeEye. I don't know what is the difference between the two but I do know that table selection tools are also banned on PS.

SpadeEye is banned b/c it hits a central database. If HM makes it hit just the individual's database, it would be legit.

Table Selection tool will be only a table selection tool, it will only take info from your own database and will not allow any datamining capabilities so it will not breach the terms and conditions of any of our supported poker sites.

Well you know that, I know that and the HEM community knows that.

Does FTP knows ?

Right now based on the 2+2 thread and P5s thread, FTP has been closing account left & right without giving any explanations.

They will either reinstate your account or perm closed it without any apparent explanations.

The common denominator on all the closed accounts are datamining and table selection.

FTP is very UNREASONABLE in this regard. They should be going after on real CHEATERS.... BOTS, COLLUSION and MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS.

At least BOTs are very easy to crushed once you have determined the pattern. Bots are only as good as the programmer of the bot.

SpadeEye btw does not use central DB. It actually uses PT DB.

Tableratings.com and Poker-Edge uses central DB. There might be others but SpadeEye does not. It does datamining though.

Then I am wrong. Sorry for the assumption and please disregard my prior reply. Thanks for the correction.
