Hi,
I did search the forum and followed the steps in this thread, but to no joy;
http://208.109.95.123/forum/showthread.php?t=5607&highlight=unable+connect+postgres
Basically, HEM was working fine as of yesterday. I load it up today and Suddenly I can not get it to start it any more.
I get the following messages:
1. Holdem Manager has determined that you are running Microsoft Vista. In order to have Holdem Manager run well you should disable User Access Control in your Control Panel - Users section. This is needed in order to properly install Postgre.
Postgre was properly installed (HM was properly running before, and also I've disable User Access Control)
2. The following error ocurred when trying to opern the database: Failed to establish a connection to '127.0.0.1'
3. It then loads up the connect to Postgres, which it is unable to do.
I have uninstalled HEM, deleted the RVG software folder, rebooted. Installled the latest version and still no joy.
I have also disabled my anti virus and added HEM as allowed etc.
HEM is set to run as administrator ... HELP!
