This shot is diff than is what in your directions, it has a "Server" and "Client" which I changed both to SQL_ASCII, (the default was WINsomething) then when I hit Next I get the error shown below.

http://208.109.95.123/faq/?f=71 follow those instructions and then youll probably need to uninstall and reinstall postgreSQL again since you had to abort the installation.

I am having the identical problem as BLITZ
At the command prompt I type "CONVERT C:/FS:NTFS

I get the following responce
"The type of the file system is FAT32.
Enter current volume label for drive C:"

As per above post I type in random entry and get the following responce
"An incorrect volume label was entered for this drive"

What now??????????

I tried a few randoms things that never worked, then I tried typing in the current name of the drive and that worked. In my case it was ACER, which is the kinda of laptop it is. If you goto "my computer" it should show the drives w/the names.........example HP (C:) if you have an HP and have not renamed the drive, then you would simply type in HP for the volume label.

Im not sure to be honest so id ask on a PC forum to be sure, even thought converting shouldnt format anything you should always make a backup of important files when doing this kind of thing
