View Full Version : Cannot start HM after installing

Hi! I have installed HM for the first time. Im not (yet) a registered user, but i wanna purchase it very soon.

After installing via installer following message arrives:

"Holdem Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I am normally using PT3 (with postgres). Could this be the reason for the error?

Try This: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=14

If the problem persists uninstall and reinstall PostgreSQL aswell http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=177

And finally backup your config folder in C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config then uninstall HoldemManager and delete the RVGSoftware in C:\Program Files and reinstall the Full version from www.holdemmanager.net and update to the latest patch and run HM, only replace your config files after youve tested HM is working first and then copy all your files back to the config folder

first one didnt work, i will try the second now. I never used HM before, do i still have to do the thing with the cenfig stuff??

EDIT: OK after doing the first option again and reinstalling HM, it works now! Thanks!
