I got this error after starting up HEM, starting auto import, playing for about 20 mins and then opening the reports page in HEM.

Until no Problems of this kind with HEM and BOSS. Also, there was no BOSS update.

can you help me?

open dbcontrolpanel.exe (in the HoldemManager folder)--> create a new empty database--> and reimport your hands.

The error looks to be the sign of a corrupt database (or corrupt index)

When I try to export my db, I get the same error and no hands are exported

btw, the stats in the hud are correct

Instead of exporting the hands... is it possible to reimport the original .xml handhistories from your archive folder C:/HMArchive ?

Made new Database, imported from \hemarchive and now the new db is working. Only a few hands missing, thanks for helping and giving me a workaround :-)

Now the same happens with the new database

The 2 most common causes of these problems are

1) powering off your computer or having your computer lose power while the database is doing something and

2) an old drive with bad sectors on it.

So, to protect against this;
a) keep you hands histories in case you do need to reimport
b) use a power bar and avoid hard shutdowns (when you flick the power switch on the pc)
c) if your drive is old consider replacing it with a new one. They are cheap and much faster now than even a few years ago.

Which SQL version are you using?
Install SQL 9.0.3 to the SSD from PostgreSQL: The world's most advanced open source database (http://www.postgresql.org)
Install it to port 5433.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Not all SSDs (especially older ones) are good for running databases.

Do you have another harddisk where you can install postgresql?

Which SSD do you have?

Update Windows 7 to Service Pack 1
Add postgres.exe, holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe to the exceptions list of Windows Firewall. (so don't turn off the firewall).

Add the entire HoldemManager/PostgreSQL folder to the exceptions list of Windows Defender, and Antivir.

So I almost forgot to inform you, updating the postgresql did the job for me.

Thank you for helping.
