postgre installation problems...

when i go to install the DB on my new PC it says

C:\Users\***^\AppData\Local\Temp could not be saved, because an unknown error occurred.

Try saving to a different location.

how do i fix this?

also how can i get me reg code again since i can still put it on a second PC but dont know where to find the code?

This is a Vista issue, i had it myself on another PC but didnt get around to fixing it. Either post the error on a PC forum or try googling for the solution.

i got around that problem but now i get this error before it installs

error reading from file
C:\users\eric\appdata\local\temp\temp1_postgresql. zip\postgresql-8.3-int.msi. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

Its really the same issue, i suspect its something to do with the location as the location its saving in is a hiden folder within Vista. You need to try aandsave to a different location however i dont think it allow you to do this IIRC. Maybe try using a different browser to download, theres a few IE, Firefox, opera etc
