having trouble registering holdem manager

I get to the point where i get to the database control panel and it says i need postgresSQL but when i try to download postgres it doesnt work. i get to the last step and i get a weird error message. i'm not sure what i can do. any ideas?

after step 8 on the postgres instructions to install located here: http://www.holdemmanager.net/PostgreSQL_Install_Help.html
an error message comes up saying: "The PostgreSQL data directory must be on an NTFS formatted volume. If you wish to install the data directory on another type of partition (which is not recommended, and is unsupported) you must initialize the database cluster manually by running initdb.exe.)"

i think im just gunna download it on my laptop instead of my desktop. how would i go about doing this? i know i got 2 registration codes, but now im not sure how to find them again. anyway you could help?

They should be in your email from sales@holdemmanager.net and if not email that address and get the code resent
