I am getting this error message when I try to open HM3. What to do?

I appear to have fixed this problem looking at prior threads but my friend has another one. He downloaded the Ignition Hand Grabber and restarted computer but doesn't see the APPS tab at the top to enable it. Is this because he has a trial version?

HM3 Apps can only be used if you own a HM3 license, they can not be used if HM3 is in Trial or Free mode. Unfortunately there is no way around this limitation.
