Dear Support Team,

I have always succesfully imported hand histories requested from the pokerstars software which were sent via email but the recent imports I try to do always fail.

My process is the following:

1. Get Hand History from Pokerstars Software, select language English
2. Open the email sent
3. Copy the email into text file
4. Import with HM3

The result: "Warning: Unrecognized game type:" and "Encountered unexpected end of hand history."

To me the emails sent from Pokerstars are identical in structure, but maybe I'm missing something?!

Thanks in advance for helping me out

Make sure every line break matches the other hands. They do different breaks in the first line for mobile hands, and I've seen some others where they run the showdown section all into one line, so it's very inconsistent lately.

See this post I just made in a similar thread with some text/image examples - https://forums.holdemmanager.com/showthread.php?t=540910&p=2504871&viewfull=1#post2504871

Hi Fozzy,

thanks for the advise.

You were right, I compared mobile hand histories with ones played from regular client and the structure is vastly different as regards to where line breaks are made.

I had to enter 6 line breaks per hand to make it work.

The structure is really inconsistent.

I hope they will fix that.

It has been that way for years so I wouldn't hold your breath on improvements from them. What they need to do is make the client send them as zipped txt file attachments instead of in the body of the email itself.

If you email their support directly, instead of requesting them from the poker client, they can send them attached as zipped txt files. They do this when you want more hands sent than the client can send out, such as every hand you ever played, but I am not sure if they would do the same thing if you only need your hands from yesterday (which you can easily get from the client).
