View Full Version : Total hands will only display session and not actual total

I've successfully imported my HM2 database and it all seems fine but the HUD won't display the total hands, only the number from the session.

I've set the "stats from the last 20000" so I should be able to see 20k total hands for myself but I only see the number in the session.

No amount of tweaking the settings seems to fix this, what am I doing wrong?

That is for opponent's, not the hero. Similar to how it was in HM2, HM3 does not show hero lifetime HUD stats on the live table for performance reasons.

HM3 is designed to only show your session stats in the HUD at each table. As your own number of hands increases your lifetime stats don't change much if at all between hands but your image at each individual table may vary considerably depending on the cards you've been dealt and/or your opponents. If you want to see your lifetime stats for analysis purposes you can do so in your HM3 reports.

We have a feature request for lifetime HUD stats in the HM3 replayer like we had in HM3. If you want to be notified when it is fixed please send an email via the 'Contact Support' link (https://support.holdemmanager.com/) and include "Notify Me When HMT-1428 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

So the live HUD will always show full villain sample (I've capped it at 20k hands), but only show hero data for the current session?

Can I disable hero HUD like in HM2?

Correct. Having the hero HUD load lifetime data on live tables (for hm2, or hm3, or pt4, etc) would cause huge performance issues for PostgreSQL or SQLite.


Can I disable hero HUD like in HM2?

Open the HUD - HUD Editor and choose the 'Profile:' you want to customize from the drop-down menu. Select the group = Default and under Group Properties - set the drop-down menu option to 'Everyone but hero' as shown in this image - https://www.dropbox.com/s/k9dz94kho4dsqb0/HUD-EveryoneButHero.png?dl=0


If your HUD has multiple 'Groups' you will want to repeat the process above for all of the other groups in the HUD.

You are welcome. I haven't been on the forums this much in a long time but we have been in the process of releasing HM3 the past 2 days. I (and the rest of the team) will be spending a lot more hours than normal on the HM3 forums and support tickets for the next few weeks now that HM3 is live.

Edit: Impossible send a mail via https://support.holdemmanager.com/ for future notification, cant logging on mozilla, microsoft edge and mobile phone, Is something wrong on the page?

There is no option to view lifetime hero stats in the replayer currently. It was possible in early testing but it caused performance issues so we had to disable it at that time.

Note: There is a method to enable it manually but it can cause performance issues as mentioned, and it will also cause the live table hero HUD to behave the same way which would mean losing the ability to see your table image/stats* at each table which you may not like (and it could also cause performance issues when playing live). If you want the instructions on how to do this, we posted them on our forums (https://forums.holdemmanager.com/showthread.php?t=540598&p=2505760&viewfull=1#post2505760).

*You can edit the config file to 'True' when using the Replayer, and then to 'False' when playing live to see your table image on live tables instead of lifetime hero data.

This feature request has been documented in detail and provided to the developers for future consideration.
