Hi,

so I got too sick of the many bugs of PT3 recently and bought ur program, however i am experiencing a few problems with it as well, perhaps someone can help me out, i didnt find anything in the FAQs or somewhere else.

Firstly, my text size appears to be too large, i can not see the full text in many places in the program, see e.g. here:

<a href="http://img218.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hm1hw5.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/8817/hm1hw5.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://img604.imageshack.us/content.php?page=blogpost&files=img218/8817/hm1hw5.jpg" title="QuickPost"><img src="http://imageshack.us/img/butansn.png" alt="QuickPost" border="0"></a>

How can i change this (my screen resolution is 1920x1200)

Secondly, when i export and import from PT3 my stats always show huge losses (that did not occur):

Here is an import to HM:
<a href="http://img187.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hm2mq9.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/4237/hm2mq9.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://img604.imageshack.us/content.php?page=blogpost&files=img187/4237/hm2mq9.jpg" title="QuickPost"><img src="http://imageshack.us/img/butansn.png" alt="QuickPost" border="0"></a>

For comparison here is the same DB in PT3 (should be about correct except that it is almost all 6max):

<a href="http://img178.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hm3yz6.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/7677/hm3yz6.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://img604.imageshack.us/content.php?page=blogpost&files=img178/7677/hm3yz6.jpg" title="QuickPost"><img src="http://imageshack.us/img/butansn.png" alt="QuickPost" border="0"></a>

Anything one can do to make this work? (I know that exporting-importing is often buggy).

Also why are there only 3440 hands shown on this page when there should be 22k (still same DB, see 2nd image above)?

<a href="http://img220.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hm4sm2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/6710/hm4sm2.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://img604.imageshack.us/content.php?page=blogpost&files=img220/6710/hm4sm2.jpg" title="QuickPost"><img src="http://imageshack.us/img/butansn.png" alt="QuickPost" border="0"></a>

These are the main issues i am experiencing at the moment, thanks for ur help.

as far as the font, that may be a windows thing, wheni play on poker stars my fonts are too but, so i went in windows and decreased the font size and all is well.

as far as showing a loss, i had a similar issue and when i looked at each session table by table, i found some of the hands were not importing some hands, one other person had a player with a name of /\gressive, and the software was not catching that screen name, and since he has won alot of hands agaisnt that guy, it was not giving him credit for those wins.

I had missing hands and once i downloaded version 17 beta all my problems went away.

Hi,

You can change your resolution if you right click on your Desktop (XP) and go to Setting tab (no sure about the translation, I have XP French).

Can you upgrade HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate1.07beta.exe

If you DB issue persists, can you create a new DB and import your hands: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146

Thanks for the replies guys. As for the text size in windows it was alright (set to normal instead of large or extra large) but i now figured i had to decrease the resolution in the graphics card from 120 to 96 DPI (whatever that is). That also solves the last screen cos when you can see the text it only showed the hands of december. As for the import its still messed up even after installing the update and creating a new db, however it may be a problem of PT.... (at least that wouldnt surprise me at all). When comparing the graphs one can see that only the early hands are messed up for some reason, maybe a format change in PT or something like that...

Youll need to narrow down where the differences is, generally the best thing to do is compare 2 months and see if theres a difference, then compare a shorter span i.e 2 weeks and keep narrowing down until youve a small a sample as possible. Its impossible for me to look at a graph with 22k and see where the problem is, youll need to narrow it down to a few hands where theres a difference and then well see where the problem is although ive not heard anything from anyone else using HM about such differences
