Help please ???

Hi

I have had holdem manager for a few months now but i recently had problems with my computer so i had to wipe it and start from scratch with my computer so decided to transfer every file i had for holdem manager onto an external hard drive and then transfer back to my "new" computer.

However,when i've done this holdem manager no longer works at all with the file i used for the shortcut now just being a blank file it would seem,the icon is just a empty notefile as such.

Also the email for the verification code i no longer have so can someone please help me to resolve this problem.

Your database files are not stored in HM, they are stored in PostgreSQL folder on program files. Its not a really efficent way to just copy and paste a folder, the best way to do it is to go to www.holdemmanager.net and reinstall it.

Also with your database assuming youve still access to the drive you should backup and restore the database http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=12 or export hands and reimport them http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173
