Is there any way of sharing databases on the two computers we can use with HM?

I have a laptop and a desktop and i can only play at my desktop on weekends and it is way better to multitable.

So, what i'd like is to be able to connect my two computers and share the database, is that possible?

thank you

No way of doing it without a external hard drive? I have both computers on the same local network...

thank you

Well its the same context, a hard drive on a network is basically an external hard drive as is a USB memory stick etc

Theres also another one here that might help but im not sure if issues like antiviruses/firewalls will cause issues when working across a network http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=161

By sending a file through a email? Thanks

You could send the data folder but it can often be GB's if not hundreds of MBs so i dont think this would be a viable option, you could export and send all the hands but again for any decent sized database this would take alot of time to export and more time to import but the file size would be smaller than copying the data folder

also copying the data folder would only work if the other party had no previous database so it would only work once
