pokerstars recently when I connect with HM1 send me an email telling me this:

PokerStars allows use of tools and services that monitor and statistics show numerical base in the game, but using the information you have accumulated in your own game. These tools are commonly known as crawlers hand history and usually offer a 'heads-up display "(HUD) to display game statistics of other players at the table.

These tools can:

- Show an unlimited number of statistics based on the frequency of specific actions taken by a particular player, which is calculated from hands in which the user has participated personally.
- Include a popup window based on HUD functionality to display additional statistics.
- Altering the color of an individual statistic based on two different thresholds. For example, a HUD can display a VPIP statistics in red if less than 20%, white if it is between 20% and 30% and green if it is greater than 30%. However, the thresholds should be primary values and can not be calculated dynamically or based on population percentile.

However, such tools can not:

- Have statistics divided according to the values of the cards. For example, it is well FREQUENCY OF AGGRESSION, AGGRESSION IN FREQUENCY OF LETTERS WITH COLOR DRAFT it is not. Similarly, AKO ACCOUNT WHEN DOES THE THIRD ASCENT also be prohibited.
- Dynamically change which statistics are displayed after the cards are dealt. For example, show the continuation betting TO FOLD CBET but only after seeing the flop, is prohibited.
- Dynamically change which statistics are displayed based on the player / opponent tendencies. For example, it is forbidden to show the continuation betting TO FOLD CBET but only for players who have high levels of withdrawals [Folds] to continuation bets.
- Evaluate, label, categorize or stereotype players based on their playing tendencies.
- Show graphical representations of more than one point numeric data. For example, they are prohibited diagrams bet size / strength of hand, but a representation of a 0-100 the 'temperature gauge' VPIP of a player is allowed.

Anyone know how to properly configure the hud or pop up HM1 to pokerstars not send me notices banning HM 1 ?

It's not possible. We no longer update and support HM1. Stars will read that you are using it and give the message. Disregarding it could put your account at risk of being shut down.

Due to new rules implemented by Amaya (parent company of both Poker Stars and Full Tilt) recently both the color coding and auto rate features in Holdem Manager 1 are no longer compliant with their new terms and conditions on 3rd party software.

We have updated those in Holdem Manager 2 to be compliant with the new rules however we will not be updating HM1 because we officially stopped supporting that product and doing updates over a year ago.

We encourage you to update to HM2 to make sure you are compliant and avoid any action being taken on your Poker Stars or Full Tilt account.

Would be nice if you guys could offer some type of discount for people who own HEM1. Don't really want to spend another $100 just because some sites don't allow HEM1.

We did for a long time.

As of April 30th, 2014, our discount upgrade offer, which had been available since January of 2012, expired. The April 30th expiration of the discount also marked the end of the Hold'Em Manager 1 (HM1) support life cycle. While there will be no updates or technical support for HM1 after April 30th, HM1 users will be able to log-in and use the software. However, functionality such as the HUD and hand importing will be significantly impacted when poker sites release updates and/or add new game types.

For the month of May 2014 only we offered a one-time $25 credit to users on a case-by-case basis to help with the upgrade expense. This offer expired on May 31st and will not be extended. Please accept my apology for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you'd like more information about HM1 end of life, please read our March 31 news update - Support for HM1 Ends April 30th (http://www.holdemmanager.com/hm1-end-of-life)
