View Full Version : 888 tourney & SNG hud HM1

Hud for cash games does load, but not for sng and tourney for 888poker. It does however work for full tilt and pokerstars. I have the suggested settings as shown in the quick guide.
Once i used the table manager, it did infact load the hud, but not updating hands or stats, but this only works for 1 table.
I also have a problem with purging tourney hands. Ive tried to remove folders and reinstalling, but nothing seems to work.
Please help.

If the HUD works on cash but tourneys you most likely just need to install your client in English. Make sure the poker client and hand histories are both in English. If it is not, you need to change it in the Lobby Options or reinstall the software and choose English.

Please update to the latest/final version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.14.02.exe

There is nothing I can suggest for the purging issue other than vacuum/analyze the database or create a new database and do not import the hands.

If you continue to have problems there is nothing else we can do since we no longer support this software so you should consider trying HM2. If you have not tried it recently you should be able to install the latest update and activate a new 30 day trial. If you have any problems with the trial let us know and we can extend the trial for you manually.

None of the options work. it did work just about 1 week ago. Finds hud but doesnt update stats.
I did also delete EVERY database i found, but still finds a few hands. Ive tried to locate these files but im unsuccessful.

When it comes to HEM2, so far your staff didn't provide a good enough offer for upgrading to HEM2. Paying full price for a tool which is much like the same is just too bad of a deal. HEM1 is still working with a few flaws for minor sites. But i might consider it if theres a good enough offer.

As of April 30th, 2014, our discount upgrade offer, which has been available since January of 2012, expired. The April 30th expiration of the discount also marked the end of the Hold'Em Manager 1 (HM1) support life cycle. While there will be no updates or technical support for HM1 after April 30th, HM1 users will be able to log-in and use the software. However, functionality such as the HUD and hand importing will be significantly impacted when poker sites release updates and/or add new game types.


For the month of May 2014 only we offered a one-time $25 credit to users on a case-by-case basis to help with the upgrade expense. This offer expired on May 31st and will not be extended. Please accept my apology for any inconvenience this may cause.

Make sure the poker client and hand histories are both in English. If it is not, you need to change it in the Lobby Options or reinstall the software and choose English.

Make sure you follow the directions exactly.


Pick the table name in the table finder window to highlight it


If you don't see a table name listed, please drag the red X to the table and click OK.


Open the Table Finder again and the list should be populated with the table name now, so you can select it.


Select the table name to highlight it.


Left-click and drag the red X to that table window


Click OK, then Yes.

If you continue to have problems there is nothing else we can do since we no longer support this software so you should consider trying HM2. If you have not tried it recently you should be able to install the latest update and activate a new 30 day trial. If you have any problems with the trial let us know and we can extend the trial for you manually.

That you had an offer last year doesnt help me one bit right now. Nor was i aware of the offer.
I tried to use table manager, but the hands will not update. It works one time, but doesnt update stats

We offered discounts for 3+ years to upgrade. It is standard in the software industry to release upgrades and discontinue support for the older product.

You may be having a problem we have seen reported a few times recently. The pacific/888 client fails to write the hole cards for some/most of your hands so then it doesn't recognize you as the hero.

If you continue to have problems, try changing the path in the 888 client where it writes hands to a new folder such as C:\888hands - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/711/Pacific+%28888%29+Poker

If that doesn't help please disable any antivirus/firewalls, reinstall the software and choose English language during installation if prompted. If that doesn't solve it for some reason please reinstall it again as instructed but make sure you install the poker client to a different drive/partition as one of the customers said it was having problems only when installed to the default path on his C drive and once he installed it to a custom path on his other D drive it worked fine.

If none of that helps you will need to ask the pacific support team why their software is not saving the hole cards for all of your hands you play.

Do hands auto import?

Issues with Microsoft.net can affect the HUD. Sometimes the .net framework installation can become corrupt. This can cause several problems including freezes on startup, registration issues, crashes and more. Did you try a new database?

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.

I've tried everything now. Nothing is working. Ive used countless hours already. My trial for HEM2 has expired, so can you please extend the trial so i can have a closer look how HEM2 works? because i did'nt try it for 888poker nor zoom poker on stars.

Please update to the latest beta version if you still have HM2 installed - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_2_Beta.exe

If you uninstalled your previous version of HM2 please reinstall it with this full setup file - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_2_Setup.exe

After downloading, right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock. Then, right click the file and run as administrator to complete the reinstall.
