why is this so difficult to install??

I tried to install holdem manager and it said it could not install the postgreSQL and had to abort installation.
i tried all other links off the help page and yet i cant get any thing...
the managerr come up but can seem to connect to any of the sites no hud no nothing. i followed an instructional video on you tube as well but worked well for him just now for me.. ne suggestions id love to get this working :confused:

Sorry but the 3rd party database software postgresql sometimes is a little bit tricky to install in special environments.

Please download and install Postgresql 8.4 from PostgreSQL: The world's most advanced open source database (http://www.postgresql.org). The password for the postgres user should be postgrespass.

If that fails too try to install to a different folder and partition (c:\postgres and d:\postgres).

Next try: download and install postgresql 8.2.

If you are using a 3rd party firewall this may cause problems. You should uninstall it before the installation and reinstall it later configuring exceptions:
