DEFINITION HELP cold call raise $cardrange

im trying to make a definition which will show me the hand a player cold calls on the button vs a ep raiser. in my database i have done this 11 times. in my pop up i have a grid appearing which shows correctly 3 hands called. 8 are missing. i just noticed that the only hands showing went to showdown. the ones missing did not. in test environment the missing hands are showing as a success. would be grateful for help to make them appear thanks.

any tips on better ways for me to post would be appreciated. if i need to post more info etc..

Your post format was easy to understand and included all needed information



This is because the player didn't show down. If someone doesn't showdown then the range doesn't count. We know someone's cards without showdown if he is the hero. Nobody else saw his cards though so putting them in a note would be misleading. Also, if a player shows his cards after everyone else folded, it also doesn't count. People show very biased ranges when it's their option so in order to prevent manipulation of perceptions, NoteCaddy ignores these. This behavior can be overridden on a per definition basis via the pre flop->general tab by checking "allow non shown down hands to count for ranges"

thanks sreticentv. i have made the same definition but for co calling ep. i just noticed i am getting more success than i intended. guessing it was an error in my btn v ep def too. the grid is showing all the hands i called with correctly but there is one extra. when middle pos flat ep raise before co calls. i dont want to use the heads up on flop option as i will lose other hands but i would like it heads up so far when the co calls ep raise.

i played around with "action had to not happen" "call" but cant get rid of this hand

I think it is a "had to not happen" issue but without seeing I can't be sure

im getting 3 results back from my definition. AQ and 88 are correct. the extra unwanted result is 96s (hand history uploaded) . this hand has a player who calls the ep raise before co acts. i would like the note to show hands where action happens after the CO cold call but not before. thanks

Your definition doesn't attempt to filter out the call by the MP player. The one I attached does filter it out.
