How to maintain notecaddy db size

I would like to know how can I maintain a proper db size if I import 200k hands every day? I tried purgeing hands and than vacuuming notecaddy notes but note creating is still slow and still shows total hands before purgeing. Please help me out!

It will always show the size pre purge. I know this is upsetting to some people but it has to be that way. Getting an exact count of millions of hands can take several minutes. This provides not enough benefit for the slowdown it would generate.

Thanks for the fast answer! I know about the speed increase stuff, but my problem is that the notes size will eventually slow down the note creation to an uberable level. So if I want to maintain a 7m hands databes and the notes for it, than I should purge the hands above that 7m and vacuum everything?
