Hi!

I accidentally killed my HUD configuration.
But because I'm a smart guy :-) I do backup my system every week.

Could you tell me please what file(s) I have to restore to get my HUD back?
(Talking esp. about color ranges for different stats)

Thx
Lars

The HUD configuration is stored inside the SQL database.
So if you can go back in time (by restoring a complete backup of your ENTIRE harddisk)--> you can simply start HoldemManager--> export your HUD.

(Though I think it will be faster, if you just re-create the HUD + color coding)

Is it possible to just restore the database -> start HM with the restored database -> export my HUD -> start HM with the latest database?

Yes... if you have a recent .backup file of your database, just restore that and export your HUD.

When you're finished with this (either by re-creating the HUD, or being able to access the old database) make sure you export the HUD, and SAVE that .xml file (also save your defaulft popups) so you can easily restore it next time this happens.

Hmm ... I've just restored my 2010 database because my HUD was perfect at that time.

But the changes I've accidentally made in my HUD are still there.
So what backup are you talking about?

Looks like the colour/ranges are stored in the config folder, as an xml file.

(I changed a setting and then looked to see what files changed)

So look for prefs - it may not show .xml if known file extensions don't display.
Program files>RVG Software>Holdem Manager>Config>Prefs
