View Full Version : ZOOM HUD not working

Hi there,

Its been a week since and I have not been able to use my Zoom HUD. I have updated to the latest 8175 version and did everything on the FAQ. I even tried with my AV turned off and UAC turned off still not working.

please let me know how I can fix this

Windows 8.1, AVG antivirus

Add blitz.dll and starscommunicator.hm2 of the HM2 folder to the exceptions list of your antivirus program.

Reboot your computer.
Start HM2 first.
Then open PokerStars.

ok now i cant seem to find the blitz.dll and starscommunicator files. Had it yesterday.
Also i added the entire HM2 folder to the exceptions list

Also i added the entire HM2 folder to the exceptions list Those two .dlls have probably been "quarantined" or deleted by AVG. Disable AVG then download & install the update again to see if that brings them back.

Reboot your computer.
Start HM2 first.
Then open PokerStars.

We have a lot of trouble with AVG. They have been quarantining these files.

They also block the database folders, preventing us from writing to the database.

In some cases, we have seen it corrupt Windows to the point that the hard drive needs reformatted.

We recommend changing to Microsoft Security Essentials or Kaspersky.

Afterwards, you'll need to undo what AVG has done.

Please update to this version

After downloading, you should right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock. Then, right click the file and run as administrator.

And you'll probably need a new database.
