I just installed HEM on a new computer after a crash. I got Vista and it took some time before I got it all working. But now its working fine. I thought.

But when I wanted to make a copy of database and clicked: C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.2\bin\ and click on the elephant icon called pgAdmin3.exe

It says: cannot find libxslt.dll

when i press ok it search for a while and says it couldnt solve the problem and have to close down the program

but hem with HUD is still working

EDIT: U have to have UAC on when u tell vista to run hem as administrator (or it will not allow u to do this), and then u can turn it off

UAC must be off for PostgreSQL to work properly. This is not how you backup your database, either export your hands or do a backup through PGadmin

1) UAC is off

2) I run the program as administrator (I only have 1 account on my computer, the guestaccount is not activated)

3) Not sure what u mean with "this is not the way u backup". I copy-pasted the info from the FAQ and the link u gave me. And i have done this backup before on this exact computer with vista and then it did work.

4) I can export hands, but not open adminIII and do a backup that way.

The problem is I cant open adminIII

Ah ok, something might be damaged so you might need to reinstall PostgreSQL, or you could try exporting the hands this way http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173 but eventually youll need to sort out the Postgre Issue so might be better to reinstall that

When you reinstall and get to the screen where it asks for the username and password then untick "initialise database cluster" and it will re attach your database so you wont lose any data
