Problem viewing hand histories

I did a database vaccum last night which I do frequently. Now this morning when I go to the graph tab and click graphed hands, or click on a session i the session tab to look at hands, or click the hands tab, it doesn't show any hands and the cursor changes to the *busy* cursor. it doesnt freeze up my HEM though, if I change tabs it will still function. But I can't get at any hands to review them. What to do?

I have the same problem. I've vacuumed and reindexed database and now it takes hours to make hands in the Hands column to appear. Graphs and reports still works fine(excluding Hands in reports)
Purging hands didnt help(i have 10mill+ db) and anyway before maintanance it was ok

Can you run another vacuum to see if you now get an error message?
Most likely the vacuum/analyse triggered some database corruption.

Which SQL version are you using?
Update your SQL to the latest version at PostgreSQL: The world's most advanced open source database (http://www.postgresql.org)
8.4.x--> 8.4.7
9.0.x--> 9.0.3

If updating SQL doesn't resolve it, create a new empty database, reimport your hands. (or restore your last .backup file)
