View Full Version : Error 22012: division by zero

I updated to the newest build today (1.11.06a), played a session and then when i tried looking at the report from today i get the following error:
Error 22012: division by zero.

I cant view the report for today although when i switch to the graph, it shows up just fine.

Other reports (like for yesterday) work also.

The view of the stats is also messed up, heres a picture of it:

I play on FullTilt if that matters and i also downgraded back to 11.05d but that didnt fix it.

Please help me.

Is your computer's DPI setting set to 96%/100%? (control panel--> display settings)

Try creating a new empty database and reimport your archive folder.


Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?


For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

I just started having this same problem. All my binaries are set to run as administrator. I just upgraded to the newest beta version. I switched back to 1.11.06b and am still having it.

Set your DPI settings to 100%.
Are you using a special unusual screen resolution, for example because you're using a laptop?

Update your videocard driver, by downloading the latest beta driver from AMD Catalyst / Nvidia GeForce/Ion

I'm using windows 7, microsoft security essentials, DPI % is at 100, rolled back nvidia geforce 8800 GT driver to the stock one, then updated to the beta. This seems to have fixed my screen formatting issues (i was having ones similar to the screenshot posted here), but any report that features PLO and this month is still getting a division by zero error. Is there anything I can post here to help troubleshoot this?

My desktop is spread on two monitors, with 2560x1600 on the main and 1200 x 1600 on the side.

Can you post a screenshot of when you get the error?

Which report are you running exactly?
On which tab? Reports tab?

It just happens on the default report.. report>by stakes

here's a screenshot. If I dismiss this dialogue, I get a report that contains 18600 hands. I've only played ~10k this month, so something is definitely up.

The controls at the bottom of the screenshot are from MSPAINT that I accidentally didnt crop out.

Which SQL version are you using?
try creating a NEW database, and reimport your hands.

i have the same problem now :(
when i make "this month" and "yesterday" and one day before
checked HM.exe etc. "run as admin"
updated Nvidia drivers
created new database and reimported hands, but it didnt help :/
done optimizing database also

Win7 64x, Eset Security, HM 1.12.10a ( installed cause i had some bug, found this verions on this forum )
PostgreSQL 8.4.7

updated PosgreSQL to Installer version Version 8.4.11 and still the same :/

i said something about missing end time of a hand - is there an easy way of finding it and purgeing it?

if you have the wc-rake Custom stat in your reports please remove it

HM1 - Update Existing Install - Version 1.12.09 2012-01-02

installed this and there is no problem any more.

but now not all hands from PS are added ( played on fast HU NL100 table and it didnt import hands, on NL50 short, fast HU it did import hands )

Please zip and mail the original handhistory files (you find them in the HM archive folder or in the handhistory folder of your poker client) together with a link to this thread and an explanation of the problem to support@holdemmanager.com. We will then try to reproduce the problem.

Im also having this error in the Reports section. (sessions and graphs work fine)

edit: fixed by removing StarsVPP from the stats list
