I had a problem today and HM lost the DB connection. I tried to restart HM, but it didn't work (again no DB connection). After restarting my PC, I can start HM, but it always tries to "optimize players". This takes several minutes and finally I get the following error message: The following error occurred: ERROR: 23505: duplicate key value violates unique constraint "playerhandsflop_hero_pkey" Any ideas how to fix this issue?

It seems that an index is corrupted, can you try that and tell me if it works: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=168

I don't have this "Fix Indexes" button in my db control panel. I'm using HM 1.06.04 beta 3 - should I get another version?

Please update your version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate.exe
And patch it: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate1.07beta.exe

Weired: I just installed the new version and the update, started HM and the optimize dialog appeared but did not lead to an error! After restarting HM, the optimize doesnt appear anymore, so the issue seems to be fixed without fixing the indexes.

Thanks for the fast support!

Your welcome.

Nevertheless, you have now the "Fix indexes" button in case you need to fix one index later.
If the fix don't work in case you use it. You DB is probably currupted. Then you will need to create a new DB and reimport your hands: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146
