Can't put space as the separator character

Hi,

Been working on my hud set up and I would like to take out the separator character. I tried by putting a space there in the hud options -> table preferences. But every time i try to save it and apply it with no character in there it returns to the default ( a slash / character)
Is there a way to make this go away?

Ok i figured it out
I just made it with abbreviations and then deleted the abbreviations

You got it, just after I opened this thread to reply. :D

It's a little bit awkward at times, but that is the only real workaround.
