Hello, I got a virus on my computer browzing online and when I did a virus scan I noticed the virus somehow got attached to Holdem Manager and Adobe Dreamweaver.

The virus attached to Holdem Manager is called Mal/Generic-A.

The file it is attached to:

C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Xenocode\ApplianceCac hes\HoldemManager.exe_v58C79AEE\Native\STUBEXE\@WI NDIR@\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\csc.exe

All my Virus removal Software is expired and I guess I can delete those files, however I'm just curious to know if you guys have any idea what file that could be for?

Thanks

This was a false positive we had in an older HM version some month ago (i think it was 1.09). HM no longer needs this files, you can delete them

Ya. I deleted those files and HM still opens fine. However the virus is still there somewhere in the computer, so my scan missed exactly where the virus is.

If you want to use an anti virus that usually works well with hm:

Avg Free
AVG Free | Antivirus Download | Free Virus Protection (http://free.avg.com/us-en/homepage)

If you would like an antivirus that you pay for

Eset NOD ESET - Antivirus Software with Spyware and Malware Protection (http://www.eset.com/)
Kapersky Home Computer Security | Kaspersky Lab United States (http://usa.kaspersky.com/products-services/home-computer-security)

are both great options
