Ok, either I'm missing something obvious here or the EV calculation is wrong. I'm sure it's me, but here goes:
Using the below hand as an example, can someone explain this to me, please?:
***** Hand History for Game 9404403442 *****
$200.00 USD NL Texas Hold'em - Tuesday, December 09, 10:29:46 ET 2008
Table Briggs (6 max) (Real Money)
Seat 1 is the button
Seat 1: Agent 714 ( $200.00 USD )
Seat 2: bobbri ( $197.20 USD )
Seat 3: CS8 ( $222.00 USD )
Seat 4: f0rs4ken ( $220.60 USD )
Seat 5: HERO( $242.00 USD )
Seat 6: Karugnin ( $201.25 USD )
bobbri posts small blind [$1.00 USD].
CS8 posts big blind [$2.00 USD].
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to HERO [ Tc Th ]
f0rs4ken folds
HERO raises [$8.00 USD]
Karugnin folds
Agent 714 raises [$27.00 USD]
bobbri folds
CS8 folds
HERO raises [$58.00 USD]
Agent 714 raises [$173.00 USD]
HERO calls [$134.00 USD]
Agent 714 shows [As, Qc ]
HERO shows [Tc, Th ]
** Dealing Flop ** [ 6c, 5h, 9h ]
** Dealing Turn ** [ 8s ]
** Dealing River ** [ 9c ]
HERO wins $400.00 USD from main pot
Now, in the above hand, I got all the money in ($200 effective, or 100BB even) preflop as a 57% favorite and it held. So I profited $200. But in the "hands" tab, under EV $ Diff, it shows -$172.20.
Does this mean, that even though I got the money in as a 57% favorite, I should on win $27.80? If that is the case, can someone explain to me the useful-ness of the EV $ Diff stat/column? I must be missing something here.
I guess I expected that since I got it in as a >50% favorite, that my EV line in the graph would represent that. Since, I guess that's not the case, is there any plans on implimenting such a stat or whatnot for HEM and the graphing tab?
I hope that all that makes sense and you understand what I'm trying to get at...thanks!
