postgres taking up alot of space

I looked at my postgres and its taking up 22 gbs of space is this normal? I have about 250k hands?How can i reduce this?I vacumed and analzed and deleted one database but it only reduced it by 2 gbs.also is there away to reduce the ram the program uses?
