Hi, I play at pacific poker, and am using HEM version 1.11.05e.
I just played a session and it did not seem to import a hand where i lost half a buyin, i was looking for it everywhere but couldnt find it. It did import 182 hands which seems around the right amount that i played.

Also, i have recently put together a new pc which is quite powerful. HEM seemed to run pretty decently for a while but recently iv noticed that it is slow when moving around it. Slow like my pc is under pressure cause it sort of lags when moving down in hands section and when i open the filters window. I checked processes tab in task manager and my cpu was hovering around 25%, i expected it to be at 100% the way HEM was acting..
I remember, a few occations where it has had to close itself and gave the error message: out of memory(but i have 4mb(or gb?) ram and lots of harddrive space).

Does anyone know what the problem could be please?

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Create a new database--> reimport your hands.

Lag issues: most likely cause is the harddisk speed. Read:

Thank you, i will try these suggestions.
Do i just backup my database and restore it to a blank one using postgresql?
Or is there a different method i should use? Im assuming you mentioned this because you think my database might be corrupt, but won't i have the same issues in the new one if im using the same database.. im a little confused sry.
Is it possible to keep my player notes and hud setup?

Export your NOTES / HUD first.

Create a new empty database. Reimport your original handhistories by running an import on your archive folder. And reimport your notes / HUD again.

Don't create a .backup file (since restoring a corrupted .backup of a database won't fix the corruption).

Thnx for replying.

I formatted my harddrive a couple of weeks ago and no longer have all the archived hand histories from before that.
Do i just have to settle for having 2 databases now? There is no way of getting the hands from the corrupted database to the new one i mean without archives?

Is it ok to use the 'C:\HMArchive' folder to import the HHs from, or is that corrupted too?

1. Import the hands from c:\hmarchive

2. If you need more hands connect to your old database and try an export: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands
If this export is successful you can import the hands into your new database.
