I was trying to make a OpenShove definition for 20BBs CAP games, but NC does not detect the CAP on a game as the effective stack. Im sending an image of the environment testing - it says "Pre flop effective stack is too big" but in fact, as is a cap table, the maximum effective stack it could be is 20bbs.

The cap amount isn't stored in the database so NC doesn't know what it is. If you see an effective stack above 20 you will know the cap was 20 though

What are effective stack sizes?

The effective stack size is the size of the smallest stack when two players are in a pot.

In big-bet poker, an effective stack (or effective stack size) is the smaller of the stack sizes between two people

Those are the first 2 results on google. You seem to be expanding the concept to what the person can lose rather than actual stacks
