Hello,

Just bought HEM and so far I like it. But it will take some time to be used to it.

I play at 9-max tables. Grinding at eight tables at the time. This is my HUD-stats:

Hands
Abb. Name
--- New Panel ---
VPIP
Limp
Preflop raise
Agg factor
--- Line Feed ---
3-Bet
Fold to 3-bet
Steal
Fold Vs Steal
--- Line Feed ---
Went to Showdown

Do you think there is some more stats I need?
I want to keep it simple tho I grinding at eight tables at the same time.

Do you think there is some stats I don't need?

Then I wonder what values and color I should give each stats?

Hope you can help me!

You could add: fold to cbet?

Yeah, fold to cbet would be nice to add.

Is the value for each colour in your picture good for fullring, 9-max games?
And what value do you think I should have for limpers?

Thanks!

Color coding is for 6max cash.
So you should tweak the VPIP/PFR numbers.

(all other number can stay the same)

Limping: instead of "limp" why not have either Limp-Call or Limp-Fold as a stat.
It's more useful knowing how the limper responds to a raise, since you can base the size of your raise on its limp-call/limp-fold stat.

Easiest color coding (for ANY stat) is:
>75%
<40%

what would you tweak the VPIP and PFR to? I've scoured threads here and 2+2 and can't find anything definitive.

6 handed--->9 handed
Multiply all values that need adjusting by 6/9 (=0.667)

So the current:
0-12--->0-8 = supertight
12-25--->8-17 = pretty tight
25-33--->17-22 = optimal
33-100---> 22+ = too loose

But instead of just multiplying by 6/9, also take your own game into account and the stake you play.

Stake:
If you play microlimits where all opponents are crazy loose, adjust accordingly

Your game:
If you're on the tight side, find tables where at least 1 (or 2) players are extremely loose-passive
If your natural style is loose-aggressive (even at fullring), find tables where at least 1 (or 2) players are extremely tight-passive.

Hiya,

Thanks for the guide, very useful.
I am a little confused as to why the colours seem to swap round though e.g.
for VPIP and PFR yellow is really tight and green is loose
but
for Cbet Green is tight and yellow is loose

Why do they swap round?

Am I correct in assuming the orange values are the ones I should be aiming for?

Thanks,
Steve

Red = optimal = in-exploitable

Orange = near optimal

Yellow = too low / too high = but difficult to exploit and not very profitable to have such players
Green = too low / too high = easy to exploit therefore highly profitable

--

I would use a different color coding.
Just use white (=neutral) for optimal/near optimal
Red for too LOW
Green for too HIGH

Though I like the additional yellow for being too high/low, just not being very profitable.

Thanks for the info.

I was just going to create my own colour code like you said with 3 colours to keep it simple, then decided it would be simpler to just use a HUD someone else had created, but now I just seem to be confusing myself!! haha

As a beginner do you think I should just stick to 3 colours?

Patvs

Yes.

And pick easy ranges. (splitting up 0 to 100% in only 3 ranges, one for each color)
For example Fold BB to Steal:
0-50% = red
50-70% = white/neutral
70%+ = green

It gets overly complicated using 4-5 (or even 6 colors) where you split up 0-100% into more than 4 ranges.

Hello,
thanks for this stats for 6 handed cash game.

I can ask the parameters for:
- flop c bet
- fold to flop c bet
- flop agg. factor
- turn agg. factor
- river agg. factor
- won when saw flop

Thanks a lot!

Patvs

-flop c bet--> c-bet
- fold to flop c bet--> fold to c-bet
- flop/turn/river agg. factor--> use the same color coding as aggression factor
- won when saw flop--> use the same color coding as W$SD

HM1 HUD's don't always import nicely to HM2 because a number of the stat names have changed. To import a HM1 HUD to HM2 the creator would need to upload his entire prefs.xml instead of the individual/exported HUD config. This means you then have to delete all of the other HUD layouts that were imported from HM1 that you didn't want, and then edit the desired HUD to make sure everything imported properly.

It would probably be best to post your request in the HM2 HUD repository forum - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/share-your-hm2-hud-configurations/

You might also consider using one of the pre-loaded HM2 HUDs as a template for creating your own HUD. I would suggest you try one of the 'harrington' HUDs or the 'Tournament' HUD. If you select one of them from the drop-down menu in the HUD Options > Displayed Stats menu and then choose 'New' you can use it as a template to create your own customized HUD.

Thanks for linking me to this thread, I see the color coding is for 6-max I also see you saying how to transfer this to a FR game but I am not excatly sure how to do this. I dont mind doing it but I do not want to be wrong, so if you could help me a little further to help me with my HUD that be great, also when adjusting the colors do I need to mess with any of the filters also?

Stats I need color ranging on for 9-max
VPIP
PFR
Post Flop Aggression% (is this the best one to use for AG?)
_____
TOT Steal
TOT 3Bet
Flop CBet
_____
TOT Fold to Steal
TOT Fold to 3Bet
Flop CBet-Fold

I would greatly appreciate it if someone would be able to either tell me which color settings to use for these stats or help me to do them myself.

Also I am not fully sure I understand how to use the aggression stat and if I am using the best one for micro cash 9-max
thanks a bunch
I am still on the trial and I really would love to get a great HUD working before it runs out so I can have some decent game time with it before I decide if its something I need to buy or not. Thanks again.

Stat ranges: change the ranges based on your gamestyle.
If you're tight-aggressive, you only need 3 ranges for VPIP / PFR, etc.
Also tight / normal / loose (4th optional is very loose)

The percentages: in full ring
0-8 = very tight
8-16 = tight
16-22 = loose
22+ = very loose.

VPIP/PFR convert them to full ring by deviding by 1.5
ALL other stats, you don't have to convert and you can use the same ranges as the pic above.

Colors in the pic:
Red: tight
Orange: normal
Green: too high/low (and profitable)
Yellow: too high/low (difficult to exploit and make money from)

I'd simplify the colors (and ranges) only using 3 colors:
Red: tight
White: normal
Green: loose

Use very 'easy' ranges. For example
Fold to Cbet: 0-40 tight (red)
40-70 normal (white)
70+ (green)

Aggression factor: read http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-general/22846-aggression-factor.html

Aggression factor: read http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-general/22846-aggression-factor.html

awesome thanks for the info BUT on the last thing for AF I am just wondering which stat is the correct one to use here (Mostly used according to the color picture?) in my stats list I see
Post Flop Aggression%
Total Aggression Ranking
Free Play Aggression%
""Factor
and so on . . .

but which is the exact one that should be used according to this color stat guide. Thanks a bunch

steal:
What type of games are you playing?
In 9max RUSH/ZOOM for example, a 42%+ steal is really normal.

bb fold to steal:
You won't use 85%+ green (instead of red), indicating you can always steal against this player?

patrickG

i play sng and mtts

ok fold to steal 85%+ green i want steal from him yes
