Hi, I'm in the middle of an hard drive failure. System repair and stuff hasn't worked, so I'm gonna have to get a new HD and reinstall everything.

I've plugged my HD into my old computer, and am currently pulling files off of it. Is there someway I can copy over the database files, and then import them when I reinstall onto a new HD?

Also, I found an HEMArchive directory that seems to have all the hand histories saved. That might be enough to save, and then import?

Best thing to do: save HMArchive--> reimport the hands into a NEW database.

Technically it may be possible to save your entire database folder: Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.4/---> if you copy that entire folder to the same location on a new harddisk.---> reinstall SQL to that folder--> there is a chance it will detect your old database.*

*You should consider doing this, if you have important information IN your database you never exported:
-notes!
-bonus/rakeback info

If you haven't just reimport your old archive folder.
