Are you using 1.07? Hm will now move the files by default, so we removed the box

yes it is 1.07....does that mean the box is no longer necessary?....is there a phone number where i can talk to someone to help set up and walk me thru this program

Holdem Manager is stuck in Auto Import without actually importing any hands. The "Start Auto Import" button is greyed out, and when I click "stop auto import", it never gets there (Stopping...). When I restart the manager or the database, there is no change. I have two databases, and switching between them made no difference. I tried upgrading to beta 41, and even tried uninstalling and reinstalling HM completely. Still no change.

Any ideas? I couldn't see any similar reports on a search of the forums.

Hi,

please give HoldemManager Administrator rights:

1. Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2. Rightclick the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3. Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4. Do the same for HMHUd.exe

I'm having the same problem Fabio. I don't see a "compatability tab" in the holdem manager.exe under properties. Under properties I see: General, Sharing, Security and Customize. Once I figure out how to give holdem manager administrator rights will the auto import work properly?

This is only for Vista/Windows 7. If you are on XP (what I assume), please check your configuration: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewtopic.aspx?topicid=43

You should definately have the ability to enable "Run as an Administrator" then. Does your Windows user account have Administrator rights?

I don't even see the compatability option though to see the "run as administrator". Also, how can I find if my windows user account has administration rights (I would think it does).

Somewhere under Control panel -> users or sth. like that.

Ok, I finally found out how to run it as an administrator and I did it both for HEM and HUD. Now when I pull up HEM I get an error message that says: Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediately. The type initializer for Scanner.Form1 threw an exception.

What do I need to do now?

Thanks

Ok I did it for dbcontrolpanel.exe and I installed the latest beta again (already had done that). I also restarted my computer. I get the same error message still. Here's a screenshot.

There seems to be something wrong with your installation.

Please try the following:
1) Make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files mentioned earlier.
2) Uninstall HM with www.revouninstaller.com using the Deep setting.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, choose the Select All > Delete buttons to remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer
4a) Make sure your windows system is uptodate (Windows Update and Service Pack Level)
4b) Make sure that Microsoft .net framework 3.5 service pack 1 is installed.
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdemmanager.zip
6) Download the latest patch HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe
7) Test if it for a while and see if it work
8) Close down Holdem Manager and rename the current, working \config folder to \config_original. Now copy your \config folder from step 1 and paste it to your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\ fodler, to replace the one you just renamed.
9) Test if it works again for a while
10) If your old config folder causes problems, you can paste the contents of the \config_original folder back in.
11) Now you can import any notes and hud configs.
