Hey,

I got 2 hard drives, an SSD and an HDD. The SSD is rather small, so I mainly use it for PT4. But I wanna use HEM for analysing hands (the interface is easier for analysing). So I installed it on my HDD and it asked me if I wanted to install SQL, I clicked yes (it didn't ask me where to install it). After importing a couple hands, the space still goes off my SSD, so it's still using my SSD for the databases. How can I use my HDD for this database instead of the SSD?

greets,

Aernout

Our combo installers install postgresql to the C drive for simplicity since >95% of customers don't need it installed on a separate partition. You will need to download a standalone installer for 8.4.x or 9.0.x (Pt4 probably uses 8.4 so you should choose 9.0) from postgresql.org. If you want your PT4 DB to remain on the SSD you will need to choose a different port (i.e. 5433 instead of the default 5432) when installing it and then you will need to change ports for the appropriate database when you start PT4 or HM1.
