Hello, I was importing a big file and during the read process (processing 1 of 50 big parts) I stopped the import and restarted the pc. Now I get this message:

Please try updating to http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate1.06.04beta.exe and if it continues to persist then its most likely one of your firewalls/antivirus ct blocking postgreSQL making a connection

I am experiencing exactly the same issue.

I was partway through a big manual import and it appeared to have stalled so I restarted the app. Afterwards i get exactly the same error whether trying a manual or auto import.

I have also sent a mail to support@holdemmanager.net with more detail

Edit: Further info. I have created a second test DB and tried a manual import. That works fine but when I connect back to my main DB I get the same error. How can I get access to my main DB ?

Terminating the application before it responds is a common cause of corrupting a database, you need to export the hands from the old database http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173 and then import them into the new on you created

Hi, thanks for the replies. Problem was indeed solved by installing the version on the original site, updating to RC 9 and then restarting the pc.

Thanks (y)

I managed to do the export/import with no problems and the issue is resolved.

Thanks for your help

I've now got the same original problem. I have run another manual import and it seems to have hung just over halfway through the import. There is no Stop import button. Is there any way I can stop this without corrupting the database ????
