HUD works on regulrar tables, not on snap tables.

We're not supporting Snap tables, and currently have no plans to support them.

After downloading, you should right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock. Then, right click the file and run as administrator.

I have the same problem, i made the update, hm2 still thinks some random 6max normal tables are snap tables, i get the hands in the database, but the hud isn't working...

i updated to the 2.0.0.7995 version and seems to be working fine

Can you tell us which specific table names/stakes have this problem so we can address it?

With version 2.0.0.8007 i had problems with a few tables, 100$ and 200$ tables and with version 2.0.0.7995 i had problems with only one table "Coslada" 200$ table.

If you continue to have problems, please use the tool in the following link to send a HUD Report - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/2821/HUD+Reporting+Tool

Please reproduce the problem and attach:
- a screen shot of the table/desktop
- a hand history for the table
- a screenshot of the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock in the picture
- Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager.
- Please send a log file as well - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/1921/How+Do+I+Send+a+Log+File+to+Holdem+Manager+Support 572

Please zip and email the requested files to hm2support@holdemmanager.com and let us know that you also sent a hud error report.


If you can not see the 'Waiting for hands...' HUD please try using the Table Finder and then you should be able to use the 'Report a HUD Problem' menu - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/1441/How+is+Table+Finder+utilized+if+the+HUD+does+not+a ppear572

You can sometimes use that Table Finder tool to attach the HUD to tournaments that don't show the HUD automatically while we work on a fix based on the information sent in your hud error report. If so, you will need to use the Table Finder each time you get moved to a new table.

IM having this problem with 2.0.0.8052 On 5/10 PLO tables..says its Snap when its not. Thread doesnt make it clear what I should do..I chekced for updates, it says there are none

Just to bump this again - I emailed to the email listed in #14 with the information requested, but it is clearly not a problem on my end, other friends of mine who play on 888 report the same thing. Its HM mistakenly thinking tables are Snap tables. Table finder does not work. Its very frustrating, please fix it ASAP

I did not do a report HUD problem as I didnt come back to this thread until I finished my session, but I will next time I play

I just replied to your email. Please update to the latest official release 8091 or the new beta 8100 and you shouldn't have the problem any more. You were using v8079 and this should be fixed in v8088+.

Hi

Im user holdem manger long time. Few month ago i was bought HM2. I really didnt made reserch about snap,zoom,rush poker. In old ver. HM1 the snap are working i think but im not 100%. Im really disapointed about not supported snap poker tables! If i know this probably i did not buy this program, and now i more prefere PT4! In old days i said to anyone to buy HM but now only thumbs down!
I dont know what is the problem to support this type of game SNAP. Then pay them to support because i really dont see the logic explanation. In this days every firm wants to make money and nothing to give for players free!

PS: and i really thinking to leave this program and buy PT4 !

HM1 never supported Snap.
888 declared they do not want HUD on cash tables - see this

then ask them why PT4 can support snap cash game table ? this is not fair i think this is just my opinion.

We do not police other companies. You could contact 888 and PT and ask them. Our responsibility though is to make sure that we stay compliant with site terms and conditions, otherwise, we run the risk of being banned on the sites. We cannot take that risk, which would also put all of our customers in danger of being banned.

Can I at least view my hands for snap tables on hm2 to track my winning/loses/play?

If you go to 888 forum software issues/suggestion section there is a thread there titled 'SNAP POKER SUPPORT POKERTRACKER 4 AND HM2' and they do not say that they do not allow HUD on snap cash tables, and as malimark pointed out there is no reason they would allowed poker tracker to run a HUD and not allow HM.
As a long term HM user i can understand and appreciate that You guys need to comply with sites T and C in order to be able to provide HM support for those rooms.
So perhaps it would be possible for You Guys to contact 888 and clarify why they do not let PT HUD on the site when they allow HM or possibly convince them to allow HM HUD.

PT4 isn't following the T and C, don't know why.
HoldemManager and PokerTracker had similar issues in the past. What comes to mind is the handgrabber for Bodog.
Bodog didn't allow tracking software, but they'd tolerate the handgrabbers like Idleminer. HEM and PT would add support for the handhistories from the handgrabbers (and we both even at one point had internal hand grabbers)
HEM quickly stopped with the internal hand grabber (as Bodog would make silly changes to their handhistory formatting with each update) PT continued with it for a couple of months spending lots of time and resources into. Also dropping it when Bodog released their anonymous tables, completely banning trackers.

HEM currently has no plans to go into a discussion with 888 on their policy stance, which they stated on 2+2.

While i appreciate the explanation i really don't understand why would you guys not attempt to contact 888 to clarify the issue.
Especially if that could solve the problem or at the very least provide a definite and clear cut explanation for your users.

We HAVE contacted them to clarify, and we were told no HUD.

It is in our interest to support as much as we can. HOWEVER, it does not behoove us, or our customers, to get banned by sites.

We have been in contact with 888 about this since before they released snap. We worked with them directly before it was released to be able to support snap as as quickly as possible after it was released and these comments they made on 2p2 that we linked to are right in line with what they told us directly when snap was in early alpha/beta testing. If they contact us in the future and tell us their policy has changed to allow it on cash tables then we will add support as quickly as possible.
