Hi

is there a guide for building/buyin a computer for better performance HM2
besides more RAM i was thinking that multiply processors are very good for the performance
But youy dont need i suppose a state of the art videocard or soundcard
any input would be welcome

You want a quadcore CPU. Intel seems to provide a slight performance bump over AMD.

8 GB RAM at least. The more you have, the more smoothly you can run more things.

SSD

Graphics card with at least 1GB RAM.

Tom's Hardware: Hardware News, Tests and Reviews (http://www.tomshardware.com) has a lot of reviews of hardware, showing a heirarchy of different models of SSD's and graphics cards, and gives suggestions in various price ranges.

There are awesome systems, besides the money it would be a overkill, but it is the money that stop me from buying it.
im not an high stakes player

I having 6 tables ( short handed )with the HM2 hud
would a HP intel Duo Core 2 Processor, 8gb ram with a 1 gb graphic card do the job?

im using this comp only to play poker, pokerstars holdem manager

Any new graphics cards will actually do. If you don't play games, just get the cheapest of the (new models) AMD/Nvidia.
HP intel Duo Core 2 Processor, 8gb ram is also fine...

but a SSD harddisk still is strongly recommended.

I found a PS955AV HP XW4600 Intel Core2Quad Q9450 for a decent price ( $200 )
Reading about the quadcore processors, it says that most games not supoorting the quadcore processor

Do you know if pokerstars and of course holdem manager wil work on this processor??

and i will follow your advice about the SDD harddisk

Only Note Caddy will utilize all available cores (you can control how many cores it uses in settings).

The more cores, the faster it will process hands.

24" AOC LED Widescreen, VGA, DVI & Speakers
Low Noise ( important for me )
AMDŽ Radeon HD7560D VGA, DVI and HDMI
logitech mouse and keyboard

or this system Refurbished $200

PS955AV HP XW4600 Intel Core2Quad Q9450 2.66Ghz 8MB/1066/4GB (2x2GB 800Mhz)/500GB SATA/DVDFX-1500 256MB/Lan

I have to buy a SSD disk + $ 115 ( new)

Read: System Builder Marathon: Performance And Value Compared - One, Twice, Three Times A PC (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/build-your-own-pc-overclocking,3621.html)
Look at the $1300 PC (with the Intel i5 CPU). If you strip from it its $330 graphics card, optical, HDD, (and/or with a cheaper case/PSU, etc.)--> you should be able to still buy a new Intel i5 system for <$800.
