I tried to open HM1 and I kept getting the Postgres SQL pop up saying it couldn't connect. So I installed the latest release of 1.12.10b

Then the installation was aborted, Setup was not completed successfully.

what now????

First try to reboot.

If no help, try this:

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Stop Service

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Start Service

If that doesnt help delete the \postgresql\8.x\data\postmaster.pid file, if you see it. And reboot.

If that doesn't help you will have to reinstall PostgreSQL completely

rebooting did not work.

I deleted the postmaster.pid file

How to I stop/start the service? Right clicking didn't give me that option.

How do I start/stop this? I right click on the folder and files, but I don't see an option to start or stop. Sorry for the noob question.

I uninstalled the PostgreSQL and then installed HM1 - Initial Installer - Version 1.12.10b
HM will open now, but it looks like there is nothing in the database at all????
