My database is huge (+65M hands) and PC is starting to lag bit when multitabling more than 12 tables.

However I want to be able to keep this DB. Therefore I made a backup, created a new DB and restored from the backup.

So right now I have 2 exact databases.

In the second one I want to purge all hands and just keep stats for HUD.

I was reading this:

FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Purge Hands (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/197/Purge+Hands)

Just got some doubts:

1. The cache rebuilder is something that, if I do nothing, it will never happen, so I can go on using HUD accurately, right ?

2. I intend to feed daily datamined hands to both databases. In the 'HUD only DB' is this possible ? Because after purging all hands I'm not sure how it will react to importing fresh hands...

3. And in "HUD only DB' can I import hands, get the HUD stats updated and then purge daily the hands just imported ?

4. In order to estimate the down time, how long do you think it takes to purge 65M hands (roughly) ?

5. I guess that the 300 Gb that this 'HUD only BD' is taking will be reduced after the purge, right ?
