i played a session today and turned auto import on (ofc.), not all my hands got imported. or maybe all but i can't see them on my db.

i tried to reimport all of the hands from today

this is what happened.

not all my hands are seen on the reports tab.. my filters are off, so i don't get it. when i click on "today" and select "all hands" i cant find them either.
i tried to import the hhs to an empty db and it worked. (my current db has 2M+ mined hands). i made a vacuum analyze, didnt change anything.

pls help me!

Your DB is corrupted. Generally, when it happens, you have to create a new DB and reimport your hands.

You can sometimes save your DB by reindexing it. But it only works if you had an error with a precise index:
http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=168

So, to protect against this

1) keep you hands histories in case you do need to reimport
2) use a power bar and avoid hard shutdowns (when you flick the power switch on the pc)
3) if your drive is old consider replacing it with a new one. They are cheap and much faster now than even a few years ago.

It happens in postgreSQL even if all is ok. Generally, you don't see it because it don't affect important things in your DB, but when something critical is affected, it can be problematic.

In your case, if you don't have a window which show you a currupted index, then you have no choice but to recreate a new DB.
